UC DAVIS UNIVERSITY CHORUS ENDOWMENT
AND ROOM 115 RENOVATION FUND

The UC Davis University Chorus, Chamber Singers, and Alumni Chorus offer a place for students, staff, alumni, and community members to make music, cultivate their talents, and form life long friendships. There will always be financial challenges to any arts program that strives to meet the needs and demands of its members, and especially those of its students. Our challenges are even greater now that new standards of excellence have been achieved and continue to grow. Donations from individuals play a major role in the success of the UC Davis Choral Programs.

Established in 2003, the UC Davis University Chorus Endowment continues to grow and provide support to an increasing number of truly gifted young musicians who want to make UC Davis the place where their artistic ambitions will be appreciated, honored, and cultivated. The University Chorus Endowment, which is still in its infancy and in great need of support, will provide exciting and memorable tours, enhancements to concert seasons, voice lessons for talented individuals and even bare-bones necessities such as choral music, accompanists, or concert equipment.

Your gift to the University Chorus will ensure that our program will move ahead and constantly inspire, teach, and create. Please consider a gift of $100, $250, $500, $1,000, or more. All gifts will be recognized in our concert programs and gifts of $1,000 or more will appear on a plaque located in our chorus rehearsal space, Room 115 in the Department of Music.

Room 115 Renovation Fund

Room 115 in the Department of Music is in desperate need of renovation and improvement. Through the generous of support of Friends and Alumni, we have acquired new chairs, properly designed by the Wenger Corporation for use by musicians. But there is still work to be done. We want to investigate the possibility of acoustic revisions, which will require a two-phase process: 1) acoustic analysis and development of a renovation plan, and 2) implementation of any renovations or alterations to the room's acoustics.

Memorial gifts and gifts matched by an employer are welcome. For corporate matches, please include the relevant form supplied by your employer.
